Great for
Fans of classics | Fans of romance
First performed in 1986, the Phantom of the Opera is one of the most popular and longest-running shows in the world. After its initial performance, it went on to win the 1986 Olivier award and the 1988 Tony award. With a score written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart, the musical is a theatre phenomenon that continues to entertain people even today. Beneath the grand Paris Opera House lurks a shadowy figure—the Phantom—haunting its halls and secretly mentoring the young soprano Christine Daaé. As Christine’s voice soars, so does the Phantom’s obsession, drawing her into a mesmerizing yet dangerous world. Torn between her masked maestro and her devoted childhood love, Raoul, Christine’s fate unravels amidst a backdrop of chandeliers, opera, and breathtaking theatrical illusions. Will this mysterious “ghost” seduce Christine, or will she choose to be with Raoul? It was amazing, in Italy musicals are not so spectacular. The voices of the actors were magnificent, as were the sets. Everything was perfect. I have recommended it to friends, and I would like to see it again already!!!View original review in Italian
